Offset printing is an industrial version of flat screen printing. Images are transferred from a flat printing matrix onto paper via a rubber blanket on an intermediate cylinder. Offset printing ensures the best reproduction of images and the most even color coverage. The preparation stage, which requires the irradiation and preparation of matrices, takes some time, but the printing process is very quick and allows a very large number of copies to be created in a short time.
